Privacy Policy

We take your privacy seriously. The Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC has been replaced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which is designed to harmonise data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and strengthen the data privacy of all EU citizens and to reshape the way organisations across the region approach data privacy.

Personal data

To be able to handle your order and deliver your products to you we need to store and process personal data such as name, company name, address, Corporate ID / VAT number, contact persons, telephone numbers and email addresses.. Your personal data could also be used for marketing purposes or in information dispatches to you from us.

Confidentiality and security

We process your personal data with due care in accordance with current privacy laws and regulations. The legal basis for such processing is governed by applicable law, the balancing of interests, and consent – in that order. Consent means we have to contact you to get your approval. The personal data and encrypted debit card or credit card details you enter when shopping in our web shop are also protected by bank secrecy regulations. This is all built into the system.

Cookies

Our websites use session cookies. Session cookies improve the user experience and ensure that products you place in the shopping trolley remain there when you surf from one page to another. These cookies are not permanently stored on your computer and are deleted when you close your browser. We do not save any personal data via session cookies.

How long?

Your personal data is saved for seven years in accordance with applicable law and accountancy regulations, after which it is permanently deleted.

Should a situation arise that requires additional data on your part, we will request this of you. This type of data is only saved for as long as required.

Third parties

For transportation purposes we only provide carriers, third parties, with the data necessary to deliver the products to you. Besides this, we never disclose your personal data to a third party unless required to do so by law.

Third country

Third countries are countries outside the EU or EES. In order to fulfil our commitments to you as a customer with regard to transportation and delivery of ordered product, it may be necessary to give a third country carrier access to certain data, such as delivery address, contact person, telephone number and email address. This data is used solely to enable delivery to you.

Breach

According to GDPR, breaches should be reported to the appropriate authority in your country. If a breach poses a serious risk to you as a natural person we will inform you of the incident.
